Graduate Opportunities in Global Change Science

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (E&PS) at Johns Hopkins University is pleased to announce, as part of our new Global Change Science Initiative, PhD graduate fellowships in Global Change Science.

Graduate openings exist to work with faculty whose research covers a wide range of areas related to global change, including atmosphere, ocean and climate dynamics; surface hydrology; atmospheric and ocean chemistry; carbon cycling; paleo-climate; and ecology. Opportunities exist for collaborative projects with other departments at JHU, as well as with JHU Applied Physics Laboratory and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) We are seeking students with strong backgrounds in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, or an applied science such as geology, atmospheric or ocean science, or engineering.
