For several years, a number of Blue Jays men's lacrosse games have appeared
live on local television in Baltimore. This season, the WMAR-TV broadcasts
were also carried on national cable channels. With a national audience
now looking in, ESPNU asked
the university to provide a 30-second institutional public service announcement
of the type often seen on college football and basketball telecasts.
The PSA will also air on the telecasts of the Blue Jays' NCAA Division
I lacrosse semifinal (JHU vs. Virginia, ESPN2, 2 p.m. EDT, Saturday,
May 28) and the NCAA championship game (semifinal winners, ESPN, noon
EDT, Monday, May 30).
