Johns Hopkins in Montgomery County
Video Highlighting Biotech Campus Wins Award
In the heart of an area near Washington, D.C., nicknamed "DNA Alley,"
the Johns Hopkins Montgomery County Campus is strategically-located to
play a major role in the booming biotechnology field. A recent video made
to visually dramatize this presence has won a silver award in the Council
for Advancement and Support of Education's annual awards program for the
Mid-Atlantic region.
With an upbeat soundtrack, the short video offers a fun look at the Montgomery
County campus and its growing role.
"Johns Hopkins Montgomery County Campus presents a dry, difficult
subject in an imaginative and clever way--using humor, good pacing, visuals,
music and computer graphics," wrote the judges in the Council for
Advancement and Support of Education, District II.
The video was filmed and edited by Digital Video Services on the Johns
Hopkins Homewood campus, in cooperation with Government, Community and
Public Affairs and the President's Office.
Watch
the video in Windows Media format.
